The villas offered by Republic-Villas.com are based within the Hacienda Lifestyle resort on the
northern coast of the Dominican Republic. The luxury villas are located about 20 minutes from Puerto Plata airport (Please Note: Free airport transfers are included in the cost of your booking).

• What is the climate like in the Dominican Republic?
The Dominican Republic is dubbed 'the land of the endless summer' thanks to its year round great weather. The maximum daytime temperature varies between 81ºF (27ºC) and 87ºF (31ºC) and pleasantly cools to between 69ºF (21ºC) and 77ºF (25ºC) during the evening. This means that you can work on your tan during the day and still enjoy an outdoor evening meal in short sleeves.

The crystal clear waters off the coast of the Dominican Republic are perfect for snorkelling and diving. It's possible to dive into underwater caves and explore shipwrecks. In particular, the area near to Puerto Plata offer the opportunity for shallow reef dives as well as deep wall diving.
